- We recently (2 days ago) purchased the USR Sportser Vi 28.8 (external)
- and are having problems getting it to work with anything. We tried
- QuickLink II and Cheyenne Bitware F/D/V and neither works. Terminal
- programs can communicate with the modem; we have used trumpet
- successfully. In our troubleshooting process, we have come to the
- conclusion that there is a windows COM problem. We can get past the COM
- test with the modem at COM 1 but cannot get even that far with COM 2.
-
- What should the control panel PORTS setup be? What should system.ini
- look like? Any suggestions would be helpful as soon as possible or this
- puppy is going back to compUSA!! Thanx!
